Oriented Strand Straw Board (OSSB)
We have developed a panel board using straw, which has several benefits:
- By using straw, it offers manufacturers an alternate feedstock to wood.
- Straw is a renewable resource, that is easier to regenerate than wood.
- In China, straw is often a waste product, so this creates value from something that was not valuable before.
An OSSB plant is currently under construction in China, through our licensee Panel Board Holdings.
